Anant Ambani’s golden retriever, Happy, passed away on April 30. Happy was more than just a pet—he was a beloved part of the Ambani family and had touched many hearts.
Happy became well-known during the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He was even the surprise ring-bearer at their engagement in January. Dressed in a red Banarasi silk outfit, Happy appeared at several events and was even part of the official family portrait.

The Ambani family held a prayer meeting to remember Happy. A touching note shared at the event said:
“More than just a pet, he was family—a loyal companion, a source of comfort, and a constant presence of unconditional love. The joy Happy brought into our lives will never be forgotten… Run free, sweet Happy. You will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten.”
Viral Bhayani and Ambani Update shared photos and videos from the prayer meeting on Instagram. One photo showed a poster of Happy surrounded by flowers, and a video showed Happy’s special moments with the family.
In an earlier interview, Nita Ambani said she is also a “dog mother” and shared how her son Anant has rescued thousands of stray dogs. Among them, Happy was the one the family called their own.
The Ambani family’s love for animals is well known, and the loss of Happy has touched many who followed his journey.
