Shloka Birla has introduced a new member of her family: a little Indie dog named Cleo. Sharing a series of photographs on Instagram, Shloka wrote, “Adopted this little chaos named Cleo 👑👸,” and the pictures say everything about the bond already taking shape.

From cuddles and kisses to simply holding Cleo close, the photographs capture the kind of uncomplicated happiness that comes with bringing a dog home. Cleo looks right at home, and Shloka clearly seems to be enjoying every bit of her new companion’s energy.

For us at Dogopo, moments like these deserve celebration.

We never want to miss an opportunity to celebrate Indie adoption, especially when it happens in a family and community where that choice can reach a much wider audience. When someone with visibility chooses to adopt, it can help challenge the idea that pedigree is the only measure of a dog’s worth. Every Indie deserves the chance to be loved, cared for and given a permanent home.

Cleo may be described as “little chaos” in Shloka’s caption, but the photographs show something much more meaningful – a puppy who has found someone willing to make her part of the family.

The images show Shloka holding Cleo, sharing affectionate moments with her and simply enjoying her company. There is no elaborate message needed. Sometimes, a few photographs of a person genuinely happy with an adopted dog can say more than a campaign ever could.

That’s what makes these pictures so special.

At Dogopo, Adopt, Don’t Shop is more than a phrase. It tells us that countless dogs are waiting for homes in shelters, streets, rescues, and foster homes across India.

Indie dogs are intelligent, adaptable and deeply capable of forming strong bonds with their families. Most importantly, they deserve the same love and opportunities as any other dog.

Adoption also changes the story of one individual dog. A dog who might otherwise remain without a permanent home suddenly gets a family, a name, a bed, regular meals, healthcare and, most importantly, someone to call their own.

    Cleo now has that.

So, thank you, Shloka, for sharing these beautiful photographs of Cleo.

We hope more people see them – not simply because they are lovely pictures, but because behind every photograph is a simple and powerful choice: adoption.

And if Cleo’s little face makes even one person think, “Maybe I should adopt too,” then these pictures have already done something wonderful.

    Welcome home, Cleo. ❤️🐾
