Lewis Hamilton now has a furry friend and dog enthusiasts are quickly falling for him. The seven-time world champion and media personality Kim Kardashian have taken in a sweet Golden Retriever pup called Luna, thus opening a new chapter in Hamilton’s long-standing affection for dogs.
The puppy recently made her first appearance on social media when Kim Kardashian posted a photo of Luna on Instagram and this引起了 the interest of many fans, who welcomed the arrival of the newest member of the duo’s expanding family.
Even though Hamilton and Kardashian have not officially confirmed the nature of their relationship, they have been seen together on more than one occasion in recent months, for example at the Monaco Grand Prix. For Hamilton, Luna’s arrival has a particular emotional meaning since the Ferrari driver has on many occasions talked about the close bond he used to have with his cherished bulldogs, Roscoe and Coco, who became popular with fans because of their regular appearances in the Formula 1 paddock.
Coco, having been born with certain health problems, died in 2020. Roscoe stayed with Hamilton for many years before dying in 2025, a loss which the British driver called one of the most heartbreaking events in his life. Luna also seems to have had a good beginning in life. It has been reported that the puppy is from a champion bloodline and will be trained by Kirstin McMillan, the professional trainer who had previously trained both Roscoe and Coco. This consistency shows Hamilton’s commitment to giving his dogs the very best care.
Although Formula 1 fans are currently wondering if Luna is going to eventually become a familiar sight in the paddock, there has been no official statement regarding whether she will stay with Hamilton during race weekends. Since Roscoe is popular with both fans and other drivers, many people hope that Luna will carry on that tradition in the coming seasons.
