A few days ago, Naomi posted a picture of herself with the Great Dane dog on her Instagram; although it’s been some time, the picture is still trending, and it is an image that no dog lover can ignore.
Naomi Watts made a stylish and touching statement at the New York City premiere of her new film, The Friend. The acclaimed actress arrived in an eye-catching white dress with black furry spots—perfectly matching her co-star, Bing the Great Dane.
Bing, a rescue dog, plays a major role in The Friend, portraying a Great Dane inherited by Watts’ character after her friend’s passing. This marks Bing’s first-ever acting role, and it’s safe to say he made quite an impression both on and off the screen.
Watts couldn’t stop raving about Bing’s performance, calling it “unbelievable” and praising his “soulful” nature. She also shared a fun fact- Bing isn’t just a talented actor; he’s also a singer! On set, he would give special musical send-offs to actors who had finished filming their scenes.
Though Bing is now making his Hollywood debut, he originally hails from Iowa. But his star is rising – last September, while making the rounds at film festivals, he even met Pilaf, the famous tiny pup owned by Demi Moore.
Naomi Watts and Bing fans will surely love their chemistry on screen. And who knows? Maybe this is just the beginning of Bing’s Hollywood career.
