Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of love, family and the special bond between siblings. This year, two celebrity posts featuring Golden Retrievers stood out as our favourites — one shared by actress Mahima Makwana and another by actor Karan Wahi.
The two celebrities are not connected to each other, but both shared beautiful Raksha Bandhan moments with their beloved Golden Retrievers, making their posts especially heartwarming for dog lovers.
Mahima Makwana Ties Rakhi to Her Golden Doggo Bro
One of our favourite Raksha Bandhan posts came from Mahima Makwana, who shared a sweet video of herself tying a Rakhi to her Golden Retriever.
The adorable moment shows her including her furry companion in the festival, turning the traditional celebration into a beautiful family moment.
Mahima kept the caption simple and heartfelt:
“Happy rakshabandhan✨💫♥️”
For dog lovers, seeing a Golden Retriever receive his own Rakhi is simply too adorable to miss.
Karan Wahi Celebrates Raksha Bandhan With Noah
Another celebrity Rakhi post that immediately caught our attention was shared by Karan Wahi with his Golden Retriever, Noah.

Karan shared a picture with Noah and revealed that his furry family member also gets a special Rakhi every year.
Writing about the celebration, Karan captioned the post:
“Happy Rakshabandhan Everyone…”
He explained that although his sisters live away, the family tradition of celebrating Raksha Bandhan continues every year.
And, of course, Noah is included in the tradition.
“Not to forget @noah_thegoldenretriever gets his special one”
That little detail made the post even more special. ❤️
Two Celebrities, Two Golden Retrievers, One Beautiful Celebration
Mahima Makwana and Karan Wahi shared their Raksha Bandhan posts separately, and there is no connection between the two celebrations. But both posts caught our attention for the same reason – their Golden Retrievers were included as part of the family celebration.
For us, these are among today’s favourite Raksha Bandhan posts because they show something every dog parent understands: when a dog becomes family, they become part of every celebration too.
And yes, we absolutely love seeing these Golden Doggo brothers getting their special Rakhi.
