Charli’s older dog, Rebel, just turned 11 years old. Rebel is calm, gentle, and the perfect match for Charli’s life in a New York apartment. Charli says Rebel even has her own favourite TV show, the kids’ series Bluey. When Charli has to leave home, she turns it on so Rebel won’t feel lonely.
Her other dog, Moody, is full of energy and needs more space to run and play. That’s why Moody lives with Charli’s mom, Heidi, and her sister, Dixie. Charli says it’s the best way to make sure both dogs are happy and healthy. Many dog owners can relate to the challenge of finding the right environment for their pets’ personalities.
Although life in the city prevents her from having more dogs right now, Charli has a big dream for the future. She hopes to one day have “a big plot of land and like 500 dogs.” For her, it’s all about giving as many dogs as possible a loving home.
