Dogopo has announced the launch of its Missing Dog Helpline, which will go live on January 5, 2026 (Monday), offering free support to families searching for lost dogs.
According to Dogopo’s founder Dr. Gaurav Gulati, losing a dog is one of the most emotionally overwhelming experiences for a family. “There is constant fear, sleepless nights, and an unbearable silence at home. Our intention is simple: to help lost dogs and to stand with parents until they are reunited,” he said.
The Missing Dog Helpline helps families share accurate and timely information. After a report is submitted, Dogopo publishes the details on its blog and shares the dog’s photograph on its social media platforms to reach a wider and more relevant audience.
Dog parents should share as many details as possible, such as the dog’s name, breed, age, gender, identifying marks, last seen location, date and time of disappearance, and clear photographs. Accurate information increases the chances of recognition and recovery.
The helpline also supports people who have found a lost dog and are unsure how to trace its family. By sharing the dog’s details with Dogopo, they help ensure the information reaches the right people.
Dogopo has emphasized that the helpline is free and open to people worldwide. The initiative is described as the organization’s biggest agenda for the new year.
“This is not about publicity,” the founder shared. “It is about responsibility, empathy, and doing the right thing.”
