The Hollywood couple, consisting of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have had a new member join their family who is a dog. Eva has recently posted on Instagram that the two have taken in a rescue dog called Charlie, and this is a touching example of why adoption is one of the best things you can do for a dog.
Introducing Charlie to her followers, Eva wrote:
Here’s our new member, Charlie, joining the family. We’re in love!
She also thanked California Doodle Rescue, the rescue organization that helped Charlie find his forever home.
The adorable Instagram post showed Charlie spending time with the family’s other rescue dog, Magic. In one video, Eva gently pets both dogs while they happily sit beside her. Other photos captured Charlie enjoying cuddles and getting to know his new canine sibling.
This isn’t the first rescue dog to join the Mendes-Gosling household. Their dog Magic was adopted in 2024 and has become a regular star on Eva’s Instagram.
Eva often shares sweet moments with Magic, from relaxing together in an inflatable pool during summer to simple everyday moments that celebrate the joy dogs bring into our lives.
One of her previous captions perfectly sums up how many dog parents feel:

Now, with Charlie joining the family, that joy has only grown.
